Honoring the 32 Cuban Internationalists Killed in U.S. Aggression Against Venezuela

The New York – New Jersey Cuba Sí Coalition conveys its profound grief at the loss of 32 Cuban lives as a result of the illegal and criminal attack by the armed forces of the United States on January 3, 2026 against Venezuela. We express our deepest condolences to the families of these fallen heroes, to the fighting Cuban people and their government.

The Cuban victims of a cowardly US aggression were carrying our missions of solidarity in Venezuela in defense of that country’s sovereignty.

Cuba’s history of solidarity with countries confronting military, economic or political assaults by imperialist countries is long and unmatched.

Cuba Si and entire solidarity and anti-blockade movement in the United States are committed to stepping up our campaigns against US military and economic attacks and threats aimed at Venezuela and Cuba. Violations of the sovereignty of independent nations by the US is also a blow against people within the US struggling for our rights.
